Session Source Data

Session Source Data (SSD) is the full session level information for every play or attempted play in a given day for users account.

For the latest session summary data feeds from Conviva, see Conviva Connect.

Configuration

Users can select the fields they want to see in their Session Source Data file using the Session Source Data configuration page. Once the fields are saved, Conviva will generate a Session Source Data file which will be delivered to user's preferred location. Please read the Delivery Mechanism section below to understand how the delivery of the SSD files are made.

For more details, see Ads SSD.

Delivery Mechanism

The Session Source Data files are delivered daily over a secure connection or uploaded to Box.com, depending upon account preference, after midnight in the time zone configured for your Insights (pulse) account.

Note: Note:
* Each row in the Session source data file describes a session.
* There can be only one Session Source Data file for a customers account.
* If one session crosses a day boundary (a viewer starts watching content before midnight and watches through midnight), both days will have same session ID in the SSD, which is an expected behavior.
