Channel Page
The Channel page displays detailed data and metrics based on the selected channel. You can use this data to analyze detailed user behavior with channel usage, such as which device types and series views influence channel usage.
Interval Settings
The default interval is Last 7 Days. Click the drop-down to customize the intervals for the current interval and the comparison interval. See Intervals for more details.
The filter bar shows the current filter settings and the Create Segment button.
Filters
You can use the filters on every page of Audience to select dimensions that allow you to narrow your focus to include video sessions that match certain attributes. For more information, see Uisng Filters.
Consumption by Channel
This consumption map shows the color-coded data point for the selected channel by color and ring portion size. Mouse over the data point to display the data details.
Viewership Metrics
These viewership metrics display the metric values for the current interval. The percentage below each metric indicates the change in value from the previous interval.
Click a metric or comparison percentage to the related data for that metric. Click the Unique Viewers metric to jump to the Unique Viewers page for detailed viewer analysis.
KPIs Over Time
These KPIs show time series of the viewers, plays, and minutes per viewer over the selected interval. Mouse over any data point to display the data details. Click a metric name to toggle the metric display.
Click a data point on the time line to analyze the related data by day and time stamp.
Minutes Watched
The Minutes Watched widget is an advanced version of the Viewership Over the Show widget. This widget offers a more refined view of the duration of asset plays by displaying the distribution of viewers across the duration of the content watched.
The X-axis of the bar chart displays an interval of 5 minutes that was spent in watching the content. For example: if a viewer watched 2 sessions of a show, one session for 6 minutes and another session for 15 minutes, the viewer is counted as one unique viewer in the blue bar at value 5-10, and one unique viewer at value 15-20.
Consumption by DMA
This consumption map shows the color-coded data DMA viewer for the selected content with channel viewership (minutes/per viewer) by color and circle size. Mouse over the data point to display the data details.
Content Plays by Device Type
This plays chart displays consumption by the selected channel, so you can quickly determine the proportion of usage of this channel by each device type. Mouse over any data point to display the data details.
Click a data area and select the option to open the Device Page with detailed plays data for that device.
Plays by Day Part and Day of the Week
This chart displays content consumption data for the selected channel over days and day parts, so you can quickly analysis patterns in the consumption times for the current segment over the last 7 days. Mouse over any data point to display the data details.
Click a data area and select the option to open the Day Part Detail page with detailed consumption data during that period.
Top Series By Engagement and Plays
This content engagement chart displays consumption using the selected channel, so you can quickly determine series engagement and usage across the channel. Engagement is measured by the daily minutes per viewer. Mouse over any data point to display the data details.
Click a series value to open the Lead In / Lead On and Content page for a specific series.
Top Content
This widget displays content consumption over the selected channel, so you can quickly analyze detailed user behavior, such as the unique user ID along with the watched content, day part, and device type.
You can also click specific data to open other drill-down pages for additional analysis.
