Crash -> Restart

In addition to app crashes that lead to app exits, it's important to also gauge when there is lower app crash engagement impact and crash tolerance. High restart rates suggest users remain engaged despite crashes, indicating lower-level severity issues.

This metric shows the percentage of app crashes followed by an app restart in less than 30 seconds.

The metric is calculated as the number of app crashes where the user restarted the app in less than 30 seconds, divided by number of Crash to App Startup Init events. Computed from App Crashes (v1).

For more details, see App Crashes Explained.

Enabling the # mode displays the metric in number format, representing the total count of app crashes followed by an app restart in less than 30 seconds.
