Soft Navigation Time

Soft Navigation Time measures the page rendering time from the moment a page navigation is detected until the page is fully rendered and ready for user interaction.

A soft navigation begins when a SPA changes views/routes without a full browser reload (for example, with React Router or Angular Router). During this time, the app may fetch data, update components, re-render the UI, and execute JavaScript.

  • JS works best with js-1.4.11 and above

This metric supports percentile and average queries. For more information on different percentile details, see Percentile Aggregation.
