Playing Time (Interval) is the combined viewing time across all devices for the sessions that played in the time range. For each session, this metric sums the playing time in the selected time range.
For these sessions, playingTime includes only the time that the player reports that video is playing during the selected time range. For instance, it does not include time during pause, ads using Client-Side Ad Insertion (CSAI), rebuffering, or playing time outside of the specified period (in this diagram, playTime1).
For aggregation, this metric is the sum of the Playing Time (Interval) that played in the selected time range across all sessions in the time range. Playing Time (Interval) is an 'interval' type metric.
Playing Time (Interval) is available in the Trends dashboard in Time Series format.
