Wait Time Before Exit

This metric measures the amount of time that viewers wait before exiting a session during EBVS, before the video starts playing. It is displayed as a distribution across a series of 4 predefined duration buckets. For example, you see the number of sessions where the viewer waits between 0-20 seconds before exiting, between 20-40 seconds, and so forth.

Overview

 Yes  Yes This metric measures the amount of time that viewers wait before exiting a session during EBVS, before the video starts playing. It is displayed as a distribution across a series of 4 predefined duration buckets. For example, you see the number of sessions where the viewer waits between 0-20 seconds before exiting, between 20-40 seconds, and so forth.

With Client-Side Ad Insertion (CSAI), pre-roll ads are included in the video startup and contribute to the wait time if the viewer exits during the pre-roll ad before the video starts.

With Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI), pre-roll ads are not included in the video startup and do not contribute to the wait time metric.
